Southwestern Ventures began its operations in Lithuania in 2019 with face-to-face fundraising. Over the next few years, more than 100 people joined our team. Each of them received intensive training, personal mentorship, and the opportunity to experience hundreds—sometimes thousands—of real sales situations. However, we eventually faced one key challenge: while face-to-face sales is an excellent way to start a sales career, its growth potential usually reaches a ceiling within 3–5 years.

Our team has always attracted young, ambitious people eager to grow, so it became clear that we needed to create long-term, sustainable and meaningful career opportunities. The natural next step was to move into the B2B sales market, where professional sales skills can be developed deeply and continuously.

This is how, at the end of 2024, our partnership with the Swedish company Rahmqvist was born.

What is Rahmqvist?

Rahmqvist is a family-owned Swedish company operating since 1953. It began as a small office supplies provider, but over seven decades has grown into an international organization working in more than 10 European countries.

Who leads Rahmqvist?

The Rahmqvist teams in Lithuania and Latvia are led by two strong and dynamic leaders: Dominykas Jutas and Ilja Skopincevs.

Dominykas began his career in the Southwestern family of companies in 2017, when he traveled to the U.S. as a student with Southwestern Advantage to sell educational systems door-to-door. Over the following three years, he grew from a salesperson into one of the key leaders in Lithuania, and in 2019 he launched Southwestern Ventures Lithuania from scratch.

Throughout his career, Dominykas has experienced thousands of sales situations across multiple formats — cold calling, door-to-door, face-to-face, and B2B. His greatest strength lies in selecting the right people, building strong teams, and helping them reach their goals. He has trained and led more than 200 people, always placing personal growth at the heart of leadership: confidence, discipline, habits, natural strengths, and becoming the best version of oneself. As a result, strong sales performance follows naturally.

Ilja, the newest member of the Southwestern Ventures leadership team, leads our Rahmqvist team in Latvia. He began his sales career in 2016 selling books and has remained committed to growth in both sales and leadership ever since.

Ilja is known for his determination, energy, and positive attitude — qualities that inspire both his team and clients. People appreciate his ability to quickly build trust, communicate clearly, and focus on solutions rather than problems. He believes in development through practice, discipline, and continuous learning, and this mindset enables him to help his team achieve increasingly higher results.

Together, Dominykas and Ilja form a leadership pair that combines experience, ambition, and genuine care for people — creating an environment where teams in both Lithuania and Latvia can grow fast, perform strongly, and build meaningful careers.
