When Southwestern Ventures expanded to Latvia, the goal was simple: to build a team that combines financial knowledge, a human touch, and a genuine desire to help people manage their money wisely.

Who leads Southwestern Finance?
The division is led by Liene Zakule – a leader whose strength lies in her genuine care, honesty, and clarity.
Liene is the kind of leader who sees potential and helps people bring it out.
When she sees someone with the drive to achieve something, she gives her full support. She listens, guides, and helps — but she also holds people accountable.
She says things as they are.
“If I see someone going off track — when their actions don’t match the goals they’ve set — I’ll stop them and say, ‘Hey, this isn’t going to get you where you want to go.”
She’s caring, but demanding — and that combination is what helps people grow beside her.
Vision
Liene never dreamed of building a 100-person team. Her vision is to build a place where people earn well, feel good, and grow as humans. Where the office feels like a family, but with healthy competition.
